Here’s what you’ve been up to this month:
- You weigh 14 pounds 12 ounces (50-75%) and are 26 inches long (90-95%). You have a super long torso and short little legs.
- You wear a size 2 diaper and are in 3-6 month clothes.
- You are still nursing like a champ, about 5 times a day, and we started rice cereal just a few days ago. You did really well with it when you weren’t smiling big grins at me.
- You starting rolling over right before you turned 3 months old, but you still only roll to one side (your right) and you still can’t roll from your stomach to your back.
- You are trying to sit up out of your bouncy seat or anything that you are laying on. You can’t sit up on your own quite yet but you are on your way!
- You are doing so well in your PT! You can hold your head in midline and can almost turn your head to where your chin is on your right shoulder. This is HUGE! Your therapist is so pleased with your progress that she cut you down to one day a week. You still don’t like to go and get whiny when you get on the mat, but your sister LOVES going (because she can jump on the trampoline).
- You love to sleep on your tummy and suck your thumb. You get very frustrated when you are playing on your stomach and can’t roll over, but you just stick your thumb in your mouth and drift to sleep. You never stay angry for long, you just make the best of the situation.
- You LOVE your sister! You will strain your neck to see what she is up to.
- You don’t talk much during the day, but when your sister is gone you talk up a storm!!
- You kick your legs like crazy when you are on your back.
- You just got cleared by the cardiologist! You no longer have a hole in your heart and you never have to go back to the cardiologist!! We are so blessed and thankful to God for answering our prayers.
