Our weekend

Our weekend started on Friday with a trip to the doctor. Emerson has been quite cranky the whole week. After some foul smelling pee and a rather unfortunate case of diaper rash, I decided to put a call in to see what we should do. Well, after a head to toe examination and one catheter later, it turns out little Emmy has an ear infection, upper respiratory infection, but thankfully, no UTI. If that wasn't enough for one visit, I decided to get the vaccine that Ansley has needed. I figured I might as well since we were there. Let's just say that Emerson did better with the catheter. So to cheer my baby up we went and got lemonade and pizza. Sometimes that is just what you need.
The nurse let Ansley play with her Mickey and Minnie dolls, to which Ansley replied, "Where's Donald?"

This is right before Emerson got into her jar of baby food.  It was a very interesting hour and a half in that room!

On Saturday we went up to my Nana and Pawpaw's for a going away party. The party was held at their neighborhood clubhouse, and they had quite the turn out. They have moved to an assisted living facility outside of Atlanta, but occasionally go back "home" for visits. We had a really great time, Ansley had a ball running on the dock.  The rest of the time we hung out at the house. Eventhough most of the furniture is gone, it still feels like home for me.  Nana loaded us up with lots of goodies to bring home with us.  I am now in the process of finding homes for them! We had such a great time up there as always, Ansley did not want to leave! She was crying and telling us that she wanted to stay at Nana's and not go home!! When we were leaving the neighborhood we past the clubhouse and she told us that she had fun at the party eating food. All in all it was a great trip!
Almost there.  Isn't it just gorgeous up there?

The view from the party.

My two precious girls were so great at the party!! They were LOVING all the attention.

A little sisterly love!
Getting some snuggle time with Pawpaw.
